7. COOKIES IN THE ONLINE STORE AND ANALYTICS
7.1. Cookies are small text files in the form of text information sent by a server and saved on the visitor’s side of the Online Store website (e.g., on a computer’s hard drive, laptop, or smartphone memory card – depending on the device used by the visitor to access our Online Store). Detailed information about cookies, including their origin, can be found, among others, here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie.
7.2. The Administrator may process data stored in cookies when visitors use the Online Store website for the following purposes:
7.2.1. Identifying Service Recipients as logged-in users of the Online Store and showing that they are logged in;
7.2.2. Remembering Products added to the cart in order to place an Order;
7.2.3. Remembering data from filled Order Forms, surveys, or login information for the Online Store;
7.2.4. Customizing the content of the Online Store website to the individual preferences of the Service Recipient (e.g., regarding colors, font size, page layout) and optimizing the use of the Online Store’s pages;
7.2.5. Conducting anonymous statistics showing how the Online Store website is used;
7.2.6. Remarketing, i.e., analyzing the behavior of Online Store visitors through anonymous analysis of their actions (e.g., repeated visits to specific pages, keywords, etc.) to create their profile and deliver ads tailored to their predicted interests, including when they visit other websites in the advertising network of Google Ireland Ltd. and Facebook Ireland Ltd.;
7.3. By default, most web browsers available on the market accept saving cookies. Each user can define the conditions for using cookies via their web browser settings. This means, for example, that one can partially limit (e.g., temporarily) or completely disable the possibility of saving cookies – however, this may affect certain functionalities of the Online Store (for example, it may not be possible to proceed through the Order Form due to the failure to remember Products in the cart throughout the ordering process).
7.4. Web browser settings regarding cookies are important from the point of view of consent to the use of cookies by our Online Store – according to the law, such consent may also be expressed through browser settings. If such consent is not given, the settings of the web browser should be changed accordingly.
7.5. Detailed information on how to change cookie settings and how to delete them in the most popular web browsers is available in the browser’s help section.
7.6. The Administrator may use Google Analytics and Universal Analytics services provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) in the Online Store. These services help the Administrator create statistics and analyze traffic in the Online Store. The collected data is processed under the above services to generate statistics useful in managing the Online Store and analyzing its traffic. This data is aggregate in nature. When using these services in the Online Store, the Administrator collects data such as the sources and medium through which visitors access the Online Store, their behavior on the website, information about the devices and browsers used, IP addresses and domains, geographic and demographic data (age, gender), and interests.
7.7. It is possible to easily block the sharing of information about one's activity on the Online Store website with Google Analytics – for example, by installing a browser add-on provided by Google Ireland Ltd. available here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
7.8. The Administrator may use the Facebook Pixel service provided by Facebook Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland). This service helps the Administrator measure the effectiveness of advertisements and learn what actions visitors take on the online store, as well as display personalized ads to them. Detailed information about how the Facebook Pixel works can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/742478679120153?helpref=page_content
7.9. Management of the Facebook Pixel is possible through the ad settings in the user's Facebook.com account: https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen
